Inspirational Meredith Edge

Meredith’s decision to take control was not a choice, it was a matter of life or death! “My health was at an all time crisis,” admitted Meredith. “My snap point was when I clocked the scales at 120kg. I got to the stage where I could barely walk for a few minutes before my ankles would give way. Just getting up at times was a real task in itself!”

“I was extremely unhappy about life, and literally eating myself to death” Meredith said.

Accountability for our own situations in life, is a rare attribute. That's one of the reasons why we loved meeting Meredith.

Meredith grew up in a family where all were overweight.

Meredith decided to join her local gym at Point Cook. After consistent months of exercise, Meredith wasn’t seeing the changes she desperately wanted. So she signed up with a Coach and made her meal choices from the transformation cookbook online.

Right from the first time I read through the tcb recipes I felt confident I was doing the right thing.

As I progressed through my first program I gained more and more energy. I could feel changes although the scales didn’t move much. Throughout my second and third programs I really experienced changes in body shape,” explained Meredith.

I made mistakes and had my bad days, still do. However, each week just got easier. When I started to feel so much better and then see real changes, it’s so motivating.

It took me a while to really understand the value of resistance training - mostly because I thought you had to spend hours every day doing it. With Dr Paul's science based FIRE,  I absolutely love lifting weights. I don't think I could live without my workouts now. I can do a pull up by myself, well almost and I don’t have any problems with my ankles.

Meredith said, "I'm so much more organised, planned and prepared. I achieved amazing changes but I've also created a lifestyle that will keep. I’m finally happy in my self. I’ll never go back to the old me."

Meredith completed 2-3 FIRE workouts a week each week. In just under 12 months, Meredith has lost over 50kgs (110 pounds) of unwanted weight.
